XR Central | Design Task
The purpose of this art test is to evaluate the intern's technical and artistic skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and asset creation for games. The intern should demonstrate a clear understanding of how to create high-quality assets for real-time environments, as well as the ability to work within the constraints and guidelines typically found in the gaming industry.
I created a low-poly 3D model in Autodesk Maya, ensuring an optimized topology for real-time use. After completing the UV unwrapping in Maya, I imported the model into Substance Painter for PBR texturing, maintaining industry standards for game-ready assets.
